Being raised on a farm, my passion for agriculture and animals was sparked at a very young age from raising a variety of livestock. As I entered high school, I became a member and fell in love with the National FFA organization. My Ag teachers and family encouraged me to show my first lamb at the Yuba Sutter Fair. Six months later, I invested the profits from my lamb and bought my first two wether dam ewes which led me to compete in jackpot shows year round throughout California. For two years, I competed in jackpot shows statewide where I learned show trends and nutritional practices. I have received Reserve Champion Showman at YGB Livestock Camp, Reserve Champion Breeding ewe, and Grand Champion Bred and Fed Market Lamb at the Yuba Sutter Fair. I have dedicated much of my life to teaching and inspiring the younger generations to learn about the agriculture industry by becoming an Agriculture Mechanics teacher, an FFA advisor, and a 4H sheep leader. I also coach showmen how to fit lambs, provide lessons on showmanship, exercising routines, and any knowledge I am able to on nutritional requirements of lambs. From coaching, I have had numerous students receive grand champion and reserve champion showman for many years. I strive to make certain all those I coach are well educated on the topic and confident in raising lambs to provide consumers with a high quality product and the equipment needed to be most successful in the industry. In order to accomplish my goals I sell Hampshire Suffolk Cross club lambs for market and breeding. Also, I build and repair livestock equipment such as sheep stands, show boxes, livestock paneling, and cattle chutes. If you are in the market I would appreciate your consideration in my equipment and stock!
